The new office, laboratory and production building for Integrated Dynamics Engineering GmbH is subdivided into three building sections which are all connected via a common central entrance hall.
The demonstration and conference centre is located directly adjacent to the entrance hall, and directly next to the entrance. As an independent structure, the centre can be read from the outside, and provides a media facade which, as an information carrier, transmits the contents of the company in an abstract, artistic form.
Due to the hillside location of the property, the buildings of the first and second construction section feature two floors facing the road and three floors on the valley side. The required parking spaces are accommodated on the roof of the third, single-storey building section.
In the interior, the buildings are structured through planted courtyards.
The offices and production rooms feature floor to ceiling glazed windows. Vertical, bronze-coloured slats protect the interiors against direct solar irradiation and overheating. In addition, the moveable solar protection creates a lively and diverse facade image.
From the roof terrace directly adjacent to the canteen, employees can enjoy an unobstructed view into the green vista of the surrounding landscape.
