Abbott Laboratories has been represented in Germany since the middle of the 1960s. In Wiesbaden, approximately 1,900 people are employed. This location is the Management Headquarters for all commercial activities in Europe, namely pharmaceuticals, hospital products, medical nutrition, medical products and diagnostics.

Christ.Christ. has been working for Abbott Laboratories since 1979. Within the course of this collaboration, administration, laboratory, warehouse and production buildings have up until today been created in diverse building phases across the 7-hectare construction site.

Today, the entirety of the individual structures, embedded in a park landscape, forms an appealing ensemble. A charming interaction between the buildings has been generated which is supported through the clarity of the volumes and the careful technical execution. The individual buildings have been planned based on the principle “The only constant is change”. They represent flexible systems which are able to adapt to changing needs, requirements and situations. This capacity has played a substantial role in the great success of the company at the Wiesbaden location.

The G20 building shown here serves as an administration and office building, and contains laboratories and a conference centre.
